Sage BI (Line 500 & 1000)

The Sage BI product relates to Line 500 & Sage 1000. It is a server based with an Excel client front end. The major advantage is that it comes with per-defined cubes for;

         General Ledger
               –        Financial Reports
               –        Budgeting (write-back cube)

          Inventory
               –        Stock
               –        Stock History

          Sales Order Processing
                –        Sales Order History
                –        Open Sales Orders
                –        All Sales Orders

          Purchase Order Processing
                –        Purchase Order History

This means that your BI can be deployed far more quickly, and hence cheaper, than starting from scratch. However this assumes that the information that you need is all contained within those elements of the Sage system. If you need to take data from elsewhere in Sage, or from other sources, then this will require additional work.

Other Sage systems
